Can anyone get help before it's too late? Or will Zak count his lucky stars and survive another day? Or is he elsewhere?

Whatever the outcome, the events will have a devastating effect on Kerry - who has been on self-destruct mode since her spilt with Dan.

Speaking at a recent Emmerdale press conference, actress Laura Norton revealed to us that her character is in a very bad way:

"She’s just had a really rubbish time, and it makes her go back to her default. She’s had a really rubbish upbringing, she hasn’t had support around her. Dan played on all her worst insecurities when he kissed Nicola and instantly Kerry didn’t feel good enough for him. Her default was to lash out, to drink and make herself feel better and inevitably it made her feel worse."
