**Feisty Charity Dingle was last seen on our screens serving a two-year prison sentence – but she’s back. **
It’s been confirmed she’ll make a return to Emmerdale later this year, and Charity will hit the Village with a bang.
Discussing the exciting news, executive producer Ian MacLeod said: “Charity is coming back in about a month. I’ve literally yesterday just watched the episodes where she returns.”
Ian added to BBC Radio Leeds: “They’re funny, sexy, gritty and grimy – and there’s a big flash sports car right in the middle of it. So it’s amazing. I can’t wait for people to see it.”

Charity returns with the intention to break up Cain and Moira
While we’re SO excited for Charity’s comeback, one person who won’t be is her ex-lover Cain.
Cain is committed to wife Moira Barton – but Charity previously made it clear she intends to win him back.
And it looks like Cain will be put in a very awkward situation thanks to Charity’s determination to derail his marriage.
Ian recently said: “Her intention is to destabilise Cain and Moira in any way that she can and there’s a long term story there that will pay off towards the end of the year with a fairly massive heartbreaking dilemma for Cain that will test where his loyalties lie.”
We all know is Charity can take care of herself – but Moira certainly isn’t one to back down, either.
