Emmerdale spoilers: Jessie Grant has to choose between her sons

Tensions between Billy and Ellis are at breaking point at Tall Trees, with vulnerable Ellis having been manipulated by Robert to get rid of Billy

Things escalate when, goaded by Ellis and unable to control his anger, Billy punches Ellis, and a shocked Marlon throws Billy out of the house.

Later on the police arrive to arrest Billy for assault, and a torn Jessie is upset to see Ellis shows no remorse for his part.

When the police ask Jessie to make a statement, she's conflicted – if she tells the truth, Billy goes back to jail, but lying could lose her Ellis.

Kerry is relieved when Daz tells her he's taken the job in London, but Dan isn't sure how Amelia will react.

When Daz tells Amelia the real reason he's leaving is because of Kerry, Amelia is furious, and goes to confront Kerry.

After a blazing row, Kerry is incredulous when Amelia announces she is leaving with Daz – and even more so when Dan agrees to it!

Dan reveals his plan to Kerry – that he's hoping to use reverse psychology on Amelia to get her to stay. But it hits home when Kerry compares Amelia leaving to losing Amy.

Nicola is surprised when Graham asks to see the plans for her new development, unaware that he is on to her and Robert's scam.

Later on, Nicola panics and tells Robert that she thinks Graham knows about their plan.

But Robert isn't so sure, and later gloats to Aaron about their fraudulent plan to get enough money for the surrogacy.

Realising Robert is also involved in the scam, Graham decides on a plan much more profitable than public exposure.

Harriet is worried about Dawn, and doesn't believe she has the strength of mind to stay sober and turn over a new leaf.

Dawn manages to land a trial shift at the factory from Rishi, but not before she's thrown herself a pity party, downing vodka.

With Kerry as her mentor, will Dawn be able to hold it together and impress enough to keep the job?

With Jacob moved on, Maya stirs the pot between him, Liv and Gabby.
