But when officers arrive to question her, a shaken Alicia is not happy with the way the interview is going.
Lachlan’s mother Chrissie can’t believe it and is angry when Robert initially fails to back up her son.
When David spots Chrissie and Robert heading to the Wolfpack, it’s not long before accusations are flying about what really happened between Alicia and Lachlan.
It’s not long before the news spreads through the village and Alicia is gearing herself up to tell Jacob, but she’s worried about how he’ll react.
One thing’s for sure, though: Alicia is determined not to hide away. She goes to work at the pub but, when Georgia makes a comment about the situation, Leyla loses it and smacks her.
As if that wasn’t enough to deal with, David then arrives with the police and they want to speak to Alicia… but what do they want?
Chrissie is furious when she’s told the police are dropping the case, despite Lachlan insisting he just wants to forget about it.
Alicia is reluctant to talk about what happened, but leaves David and Leyla shocked with an admission.
By the end of the week, Alicia is afraid to leave her house, worried about what people will think of her.
Meanwhile, Chrissie tells Robert she’s taking Lachlan away from the village – but for how long?
