**Brave Aaron Livesy will find the courage to report dad Gordon to the police next week – but the sick abuser has a plan up his sleeve. **
Last week Aaron [Danny Miller] revealed Gordon [Gary Mavers] raped him when he was eight-years-old, and will confess all to mum Chas Dingle.
It’s unclear if it’s Chas [Lucy Pargeter] who persuades him but, despite worrying about how he’ll prove his story, Aaron goes to the police.
After Aaron tells his mum the horrifying truth, she goes to see Cain – who goes after Gordon and attacks him.
But it looks like Cain’s actions will do more harm than good, as Gordon will threaten to have him sent down – unless Aaron retracts his statement to the police.
Chas and Aaron’s secret lover Robert Sudgen tell him how proud the are, but suddenly he thinks he has no other option but to leave the village.
Robert [Ryan Hawley] is determined to stand by Aaron, although Chas is initially reluctant for him to be involved.
However his genuine concern for her son comes as a surprise, and she agrees to let him help.
Aaron does leave the village – but will Chas and Robert be able to convince him to return to make Gordon face up to his actions?
**These scenes will be shown Tuesday 9 February at 7pm on ITV. **
