The actress was left at home while her Emmerdale co-stars attended the glitzy awards event in London
The Inside Soap Awards took place last night at 100 Wardour Street, London, as stars from Coronation Street, EastEnders and Emmerdale flocked to the boozy bash. But Lucy Pargeter, otherwise known as Chas Dingle in Emmerdale, was not invited.
Lucy is furious that she seems to have been missed off the guest list and confused as to why she was left to sit at home watching the awards on TV.
The 41-year-old plays a starring role in the popular soap, and to make matters worse, her onscreen family were all at the bash, including Mark Charnock (Marlon), Danny Miller (Aaron), Emma Atkins (Charity) and Jeff Hordley (Cain).
Lucy took to twitter just as the event was kicking off, to voice her anger:
Fans were outraged at the news, particularly because Lucy (Chas) has had an important and poignant storyline on Emmerdale recently. In the story, Chas and Paddy (Dominic Brunt) were forced to say goodbye to their little girl Grace after she was born with an incurable lung disease.
One fan replied : "You weren't invited? That's crazy! Especially with the huge storyline Chas has going on right now. I don't understand it at all."
Another wrote: "Shocked at this with all that Chas has been through you should be there."

It's a painfully sad week in the Dales as the village says goodbye to Chas and Paddy's baby. Before the funeral, Cain Dingle finds Chas and becomes concerned that she's not ready to let go of her daughter. But Paddy soon comes to find her and the couple are overwhelmed by the support of the villagers when they step out to lead the procession. (They're a good bunch, really....)
