As Moira Barton continues to fight for her life in hospital, Cain Dingle vows to to get revenge on the man he believes is responsible - corrupt D.I Malone.
But Harriet Finch knows that Malone isn't to blame and begs Cain not to do anything crazy - will he believe her?
Meanwhile, Malone has his own fish to fry as he forms a plan to get Will Taylor out of the picture so he can marry Harriet.
Elsewhere in the village, Lydia Hart finds an unlikely ally in Chas Dingle who encourages her to get the Huntington's test.
Jamie Tate is heartbroken when he thinks Belle Dingle is over him and Nicola and Jimmy King are at each others' throats at the café.
