Thomas Atkinson was held at knifepoint while on holiday in Paris
He's pretty much despised by the whole nation in his role as evil Lachlan White in Emmerdale, but Thomas Atkinson was recently on the receiving end of violence in real life.
The 19-year-old actor shared a photo of the Eiffel Tower on Instagram while returning from a holiday in France.
The accompanying caption said: "Last shot before I had a knife pulled on me and phone stolen. Thank you, Paris. Nice to know I was welcome 🙃"
Fans were quick to forget how much they hate Lachlan and offered him heaps of support.
One said: "@tomatkins0n as long as you're ok. Phones can be replaced. I had the privilege of meeting u last year at a football match n u were lovely to chat too. Scaring the # out of me atm in Emmerdale 🙈 fantastic acting. 🙌🏻❤️"
Tom replied to the comments with: "For anyone asking, Im fine. found it quite amusing tbh. Being stuck in a foreign country with no phone was an experience to say the least."
Well we're glad to hear he's OK, so that he can get back to Emmerdale and continue to torment us with his devious ways as Lachlan.
