It's all kicking off this summer in EastEnders and we literally don't know what to do with ourselves
EastEnders fans your day is about to be made, because the show has released a brand NEW spring trailer and it's set to be explosive on the square in the upcoming months. From prison, arguments, a pregnancy, and a potential death, we're definitely going to be entertained this summer.
The BBC show have teased the summer will be full of "lies, betrayal and revelations" and the residents will "struggle with the burden of their dark secrets."
Eek!
The trailer was SO jam packed we've decided to round up everything that's about to happen...
Jack Branning is going to jail
Things aren't looking good for Jack Branning. It appears that he is set to go to prison after things escalate with Charlie Cotton. In the trailer, we can see Jack telling his children they're going away so that Matthew (Ronnie and Charlie's son) can remain with him. Later on, in the clip we can see Max Branning visiting someone in prison – is it Jack?
Denise Fox hits rock bottom (quite literally)
Poor Denise, she hasn't had it easy – has she? She lost her job at the Minute Mart, broke up with Kush Kazemi and is too proud to tell anyone she needs financial help. In upcoming scenes, viewers will see Denise visit a food bank, but she gets a shock when she sees a familiar face.
In the new trailer, Denise visits the Job Centre but is turned away and we can hear later hear her say: "I am not a charity case."
We later see her collapse – what does this mean for the fiesty Denise?
Steven Beale pierces holes in his condoms
We've known Steven can be a little crazy for a few years now. He has recently been mega jealous of Lauren Branning and Josh's relationship and we reckon things are about to get a whole lot worse. In upcoming scenes Steven will literally stalk Lauren, grill Josh during an uncomfortable dinner and pierce holes in his condoms.
Something tells us this isn't going to end well, after all remember when Ronnie Mitchell pierced holes in Jack Branning's condoms?
Is Whitney Carter set for a downhill spiral
By the end of summer we're not quite sure how Whitney will be. She recently received divorce papers from Lee and we don't think she's going to react well to the devastating news. From the trailer, she's going to hit on Woody Woodward, chew her nails off and have a showdown with Shirley Carter.
We just hope she doesn't have an affair with Mick, we don't think we'll be able to cope.
Mick Carter discovers what his mum Shirley has done…
Oh Mick. It's not Shirley's fault that you visited Nancy while the Queen Vic was in crisis. While he was away Shirley signed the lease away and when he finds out the truth it looks like he's filled with rage. What's going to happen to the Vic then?
There's TWO new families joining EastEnders
There's enough drama already going on in the square and now a new family - aka the Taylor's - are heading into Walford. We reckon they'll cause a bit of mayhem and Stacey Fowler and Sharon Mitchell do not seem impressed.
Not only are they joining EastEnders but we also see the Murrays – aka Ted and Joyce - move into the square. It looks like they're already familiar with the Taylor's and Ted seems to have brought a secret from his past – we wonder what it is.
A whole load of people are returning to EastEnders
It seems that 2017 is the year everyone returns to the square. In the trailer we see Yolande Trueman, Robbie Jackson, Linda Carter AND Sonia Fowler back in Walford. We can't wait to see what they all get up to.
Is Bex Fowler pregnant?
Biggest shock of the century – Bex buying a pregnancy test. The biggest question is, is Bex preggers? And if so, who's the father? Do we think its Preston? The did have a brief fling. Then again it could be her ex-boyfriend Shakil? Will they reunite and have a baby? Or is it Travis? We know Louise likes him but this EastEnders after all - what would a new baby be without a bit of teenage drama?
Max Branning has basically lost it
We don't want to be paranoid but we reckon Max Branning is literally behind all the drama that's about to happen. He seems pretty smug throughout the whole trailer and we're not surprised. He was in prison for like, a year for killing Lucy Beale even though he didn't do it bless. Now he's hell-bent on revenge, but will Max take it too far? After all, we do hear Mick calling him a "snake".
Eek!
Is Dot Branning dead?
We're not going to lie, we're slightly worried for Dot. EastEnders viewers previously discovered that she had problems with her eyes, but we assumed she was completely well again. In the trailer, we see Dot fall over a chair in her kitchen. The trailer then dramatically ends with her lying on the floor before Sonia gets into an ambulance. Is this the end for the lovely Dot Branning?
