Next week Ronnie Mitchell will finally decide she wants to be with Jack Branning – but it may be too late.

Since Jack [Scott Maslen]’s first reappearance in Albert Square over Christmas last year, we’ve been shipping him and Ronnie [Sam Womack] like crazy but, as usual, the feisty Mitchell’s stubbornness has kept them apart.

The hurst breaks down...

But when Ronnie learns of Jack’s impending wedding, she realises she DOES love Jack and is suddenly desperate to stop the nuptials. We guess it’s a case of ‘you don’t know what you’ve got until it’s (almost) gone’.

Ronnie’s mad dash will come after Jack’s ultimatum, in which she failed to give him an answer over their future together.

But Ronnie is a woman on a mission

When Honey shows Ronnie a picture of Jack and future wife Delphine ahead of the big day, she rushes into action. But, in true EastEnders style, things don’t exactly go to plan…

After a heart-to-heart with drunk Phil [Steve McFadden], who we love a LOT more than normal, boring Phil, Ronnie decides Jack is her man, and hunts down the wedding venue.

Will Ronnie and Jack FINALLY get their happy ending?

Next, she and Billy ‘borrow’ a hearse, presumably from Les Coker’s undertakers, and they’re off. However the funeral car breaks down JUST before they get there, and Ronnie is forced to run the rest of the way.

To be fair we’d run for Jack Branning, too.

But, when an out-of-breath Ronnie finally arrives at hotel, will she be too late?

And even if she does manage to stop the wedding, will Jack ditch his almost-wife for his ex-wife?
