Is EastEnders' Whitney Carter about to confess all to Lauren Branning about her secret kiss with Mick?
There's only been one question on the lips of EastEnders fans since Whitney Carter (Shona McGarty) had her dad-in-law's lips on hers last week – are Mick and Whit going to have an affair?
While nothing more has actually been hinted at on-screen (yet), Whitney has got a heart-to-heart with her BFF, Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa), lined up for next week.
Worried about Lee's recent strange behaviour, Whit pours her heart out to Lauren about her troubles. But will that illicit hospital smooch be on the agenda?
Storylines have been pointing towards a liaison between Whitney and Mick (Danny Dyer) since the troubled newly-wed revealed her crush on her FIL last year.
Whitney planted a smacker on Mick while she fretted about her brother, Ryan. At the time, Mick was taken aback and told Whit that nothing was going to happen between them.
He then 'fessed up to Linda who promptly told Whitney to stay away from her man.
And that was that. Until last week when, in the aftermath of the bus crash and with Linda away, an emotional Whitney went in for the kill again. Mick took a little bit longer to pull away this time, you'll notice.
Will Lauren have any advice for her friend before she pursues an affair that would have devastating consequences for the Carters if it came out.
It's not just the Carters that would be devastated either. Fans of the show have already spoken out in force that they'd be less than pleased to see Mick give in to temptation.
But, a surprising number of viewers are actually well into a Mickney 'ship.
Hmmm.
