Peggy and Grant Mitchell are hotly tipped to come back and now Jo Joyner, who plays Tanya Branning, has confirmed she's making a comeback.

Jo joked to the Sunday People: "I hope I didn't kill Lucy!"

The whole of Tanya's family are connected to Lucy's murder, which took place on Good Friday last year, so her return looks set to be explosive.

A source said: All of Tanya's family are suspects in Lucy's murder – so her return is bound to have a major impact."

Executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins tweeted: "We really can't wait to see @dollyjoyner back, can we @mrjakewood [Max] @LornaFitx0 [Abi] ? #EastEnders #BranningsLive"

He said: "It's going to be thrilling to watch Jo and Jake going head to head again – but this time live."

It was recently confirmed there will be a flashback episode during the week of lives, to give viewers the whole story of what happened on Good Friday.

Dominic said previously: "So much happened on Good Friday 2014 after viewers saw Lucy leave her home and walk off into the night – and this flashback episode will fill the pieces for the rest of that night, before she was killed."
