WARNING: POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD
Forget who killed Lucy Beale (just for a moment, don't worry); the big question on the lips of EastEnders fans at the moment is 'what is Shabnam hiding?'
And it seems as if we're about to find out.
Yup, in scenes to be shown next week, we will see Rakhee Thakrar's character let slip her big guilty secret to none other than Stacey Branning (Lacey Turner).
At the beginning of the week, we will see Shabnam have a huge argument with father Masood after he discovers that she's been keeping quiet about some money that she's inherited.
Following the confrontation, a more vulnerable Shabnam than viewers have seen decides it's time to tell Kush about her dark past.
But, before she can get her confession out, the sexual tension between the duo reaches an all-time high - and they wind up sharing a night of passion.
Something which Shabnam quickly regrets.
Clearly at a loss for what to do, the young woman prays for forgiveness over her guilt - and finally decides that she needs to talk to someone.
Cue a sit down with Stacey… and Shabnam finally coming clean about the secret that has haunted her for years.
But can Stacey, who is left absolutely speechless by Shabnam's confession, offer her friend the help she so desperately needs?
Speaking recently about the plot twist, actress Rakhee Thakrar told Inside Soap: “Lots of people who work on EastEnders were shocked when they discovered Shabnam’s secret, so I hope it has the same effect on the viewers.”

These scenes will air on Thursday, 29th January at 7.30pm on BBC One.
