EastEnders fans, we (potentially!) have some VERY good news for you…
According to reports, Ross Kemp could be returning to EastEnders as Grant Mitchell in early 2016.
Oh yes.
The 51-year-old will burst back onto Albert Square to save his alcoholic brother Phil, who falls off the wagon amid a bitter feud with Kathy Beale's estranged husband Gavin Sullivan, according to the Mirror.
And that’s all thanks to show boss Dominic Treadwell-Collins, who has reportedly made it his number one priority to get Grant Mitchell back in Walford where he belongs.
An insider said: "Dominic has put out discreet feelers and has been quite encouraged by the response.
"Storylines don't get much bigger than getting the Mitchell brothers back together."
Earlier this year, Dominic himself admitted that he’s long been dreaming of getting all the Mitchells back together for an explosive reunion storyline.
He said at the time: "I think the fact that you've got Phil, Kathy, Sharon – there's a person missing, isn't there?
"To get all four on screen at the same time is a dream. As an EastEnders fan, you want to watch that."
Anyone else hoping and praying that this is true?
