As EastEnders fans are well aware, Ronnie Mitchell has been in a coma since she was involved in a horrific car crash on New Year’s Eve.
But, while she’s been busy recovering in hospital, her husband Charlie and sister Roxy turned to each other for support…
And, as ever, one thing led to another and they quickly became embroiled in a passionate affair.
During the soap’s anniversary week, the cheating pair weren’t exactly discreet at her hospital bedside when they discussed what they’d done – causing Ronnie’s eyes to flicker.
So you can understand why Roxy, despite being relieved to hear Ronnie (Samantha Womack) is awake and talking, is more than a little nervous about coming face to face with her sister.
After all, it’s not the first time Roxy (Rita Simons) has stolen her sister’s man; her daughter Amy was fathered by none other than Jack Branning, Ronnie’s ex-husband.
And soap boss Dominic Treadwell-Collins HAS hinted that Ronnie could be set to take revenge on the two people who have betrayed her most…
He said: "Ronnie will have a big story.
"The question with Ronnie is 'Is she her father’s daughter?' And I think with Ronnie we are going to see how somebody becomes a villain.
"I keep talking about Darth Vader. The making of a villain. Not a soap bitch, but a villain."
