EastEnders spoilers: Ronnie and Charlie find out the sex of their baby

Even more suspicious than the surprise pregnancy was Ronnie's reluctance to talk about the baby's father.

However, as she and Charlie Cotton grow closer, Ronnie finally confesses he is the dad.

Following her admission, Charlie offers to take Ronnie for her first scan. Will Charlie be able to give Ronnie the happy ever after she's always wanted?

An EastEnders source told the Daily Star: "Ronnie doesn't expect anything from Charlie and is quite happy to bring their baby up on her own.

"But his reaction really makes her smile. He tells her he wants to be part of his child's life and will be there for her too.

"The scenes are really touching and Ronnie really couldn't be happier."

While at the scan Ronnie and Charlie are asked if they want to know the sex – they decide to find out and are very happy when they're told what they're having.

The source continued: "Viewers will have to tune in to find out what they're having. But it looks like their romance is certainly back on track."
