Even more suspicious than the surprise pregnancy was Ronnie's reluctance to talk about the baby's father.
However, as she and Charlie Cotton grow closer, Ronnie finally confesses he is the dad.
Following her admission, Charlie offers to take Ronnie for her first scan. Will Charlie be able to give Ronnie the happy ever after she's always wanted?
An EastEnders source told the Daily Star: "Ronnie doesn't expect anything from Charlie and is quite happy to bring their baby up on her own.
"But his reaction really makes her smile. He tells her he wants to be part of his child's life and will be there for her too.

"The scenes are really touching and Ronnie really couldn't be happier."
While at the scan Ronnie and Charlie are asked if they want to know the sex – they decide to find out and are very happy when they're told what they're having.
The source continued: "Viewers will have to tune in to find out what they're having. But it looks like their romance is certainly back on track."
Fans of the BBC One soap will know of Ronnie's tragic past when it comes to having children.
Her daughter Danielle died in her arms just as Ronnie got her back, after giving birth as a teenager.
When she and ex husband Jack Branning had their son James, she finally thought she had everything she wanted.
But he suffered a cot death, leading a devastated Ronnie to switch him with Kat and Alfie Moon's son Tommy.
Do you think it will work out for Ronnie this time? The scan scenes will air on BBC One a week on Friday.
