EastEnders spoilers: Missing child Denny Rickman returns – with a brand new face!

We guess that explains why Sharon Mitchell couldn’t find him for so long, eh?

As many EastEnders fans will be aware, there is a big fat mystery on Albert Square…

And no, we're not talking about who killed Lucy Beale. Because it was Bobby, we've gone over this, and we've moved on.

We're done with Lucy. Now it's time to talk about… Denny.

Yup, fans everywhere have been airing their frustrations online, asking WHERE Denny has got to.

And, more importantly, why mum Sharon (Letitia Dean) hasn’t been out searching for him.

Well, it seems as if the mystery has now been solved.

Denny, just like Ben Mitchell, Lauren Branning and Bobby Beale before him, has been sent away to a special facility, where they remove his face and replace it with a completely different one.

Yup, Harry Hickles - who has played Sharon’s wayward son since 2012 - has been swapped out for another young actor.

An EastEnders spokesman confirmed the news saying: "We wish Harry all the best for the future."

Are you ready to say hello to the NEW Denny Mitchell?

Young actor Bleu Landau has already started filming on the show and will be seen on screen from next week.

It is thought that Bleu, as was the case with Bobby Beale, has been drafted in so that he can bring more to the character - not to mention tackle a few challenging storylines.

After all, Denny HAS been causing mum Sharon some trouble at school recently - and even lashed out at her.

And with little murderer Bobby living on the same street, we have a feeling that there could be something great in the pipeline for Denny.

As fans of the BBC One soap will be well aware, EastEnders have a knack for picking out seriously talented child actors, so we bet Bleu will be prepped and ready to handle whatever drama they throw his way.

Fingers crossed we see a little more of him than we did the Old Denny, eh?
