The stressed-out landlord is forced to face up to the future....

The Carters are in meltdown knowing that they’re on the verge of losing their beloved Queen Vic pub.

Ever since Willmott-Brown’s firm, Grafton Hill, walloped them with huge bills for repairs at the ageing boozer, Mick and his family have done everything they can to keep a roof over their heads and the business ticking along.

However next week it’s crunch time and when Mick and L are still unable to pay the vast sum that double-crossing Fi and her family are demanding, Mick knows there’s no more that they can do.

The despondent landlord decides it’s time to break the news to his loyal punters and sadly tells everyone to hush up, he’s got an announcement to make.

The Albert Square residents are knocked for six when Mick, with Linda by his side, drops the bombshell that they’re having to hand over the pub to its freeholders as they can’t raise the dosh needed to carry on running the Vic.

The sympathetic regulars, are appalled that the Carters are being forced out and it’s not long before they pull together and vow to save The Queen Vic.

The loyal neighbours decide to start a collection to help out the cash-strapped family but it’s going to take more than a few fivers in a tin, (yes, we're talking to you tight-wad Ian), to keep Mick, Linda, Shirl and co at the helm of the rapidly sinking ship.

As the punters put their heads together for fund-raising inspiration, Honey comes up with an idea of doing a special safari-themed dinner, (er ok….we’ll go with that), and Michelle, Carmel and Kim are also on board.

However as the night gets underway there seems to be problem with some of the fodder on offer.

Karen, aka Mrs SlackBra, has been entrusted to make a pudding but it’s not long before there are some worrying consequences!

Oh dear….what exactly has gone wrong?
