Max Branning was having an affair with Lucy Beale shortly before she was murdered, making him a prime suspect in the eyes of many viewers.

However, up until now, he has managed to stay off Walford Police's suspect list - although he's set to throw the case into jeopardy with his latest affair.

In pictures released ahead of a future episode, Max can be seen talking to DC Emma Summerhayes - aka the Beale's family liaison officer - before, overcome by lust, the pair end up snogging in the Branning kitchen.

That's right; Max is at it again - but, this time, there may be some very serious repercussions.

Do you think Max Branning could be Lucy's murderer and is desperately seducing DC Summerhayes in a bid to keep the heat off him?

Or do you think he's innocent and simply overcome by lust?
