EastEnders Spoilers: Things heat up for Masood Ahmed and Kathy Beale

The week starts off with Ian Beale stressing over the launch of Walford East and things go from bad to worse when Tiffany Butcher is preoccupied and leaves her post.

Poor Ian has had enough and suffers from a meltdown.

Later, Masood Ahmed and Kathy Beale nearly share a kiss but Ian Beale, unaware of what was about to happen, interrupts them.

On the day of the restaurant opening, Ian invites the Walford Gazette but is left stunned when he notices the journalist is someone he's previously had a disagreement with.Oh Ian…

Later while he rushes around trying to please everyone at the event, he's shocked to discover his mum and Masood snogging in the kitchen.Following the eventful day Ian sits alone in the restaurant and when it dawns on him that the launch was not as successful as he wanted it to be, he blames Kathy and Masood.

Still furious about the launch, Ian resorts to drastic measures to hit back at Masood. When he arrives home later, he signs for a delivery for his mum but after reading the note inside he jumps to the wrong conclusion and makes a big decision – he packs his mum's bags and kicks her out. Bit dramatic, don't you think Ian?

After meddling in the café and refusing to talk to his mum, Kathy decides to play her son at his own game in the hopes of getting him to talk.

When they finally have a heart to heart, Kathy realises just how hurt her son is – what's next for the pair? Is this the beginning of Kathy and Masood's relationship?

They've been causing havoc for Dennis Rickman Jnr and Keanu Taylor but next week it looks like gang leader Jagger will be interested in Tiffany Butcher.It all begins when Hunter Owen, who continues to take advantage of his job with Ian Beale, helps Tiffany out. While she's handing out leaflets for the restaurant she catches Jagger's eye… but when she sees how flustered Bernadette Taylor is, she's quick to ignore her duties.

She then meets up with Jagger and after being introduced to the rest of the gang, she drinks some booze in an attempt to impress him…

Later when the girls in Jagger's gang snub Tiff, she's left smitten after he sticks up for her. When she returns home she hides that she's been drinking from Whitney and it's not long before Jagger tempts Tiffany to come back out.

After Whitney catches Tiffany sneaking back home and discovers Jagger is 19-years-old, she makes it clear to her little sister that she's not seeing him again.

Unfortunately, being a typical teenager Tiffany ignores her sister's plea and hangs back out with the gang member. She's later surprised when he suggests that he meet up with Whitney to put her mind at rest. He even gives Tiffany a phone so she can call him whenever she wants.Hmm.

Ted Murray has been receiving a series of letters from his late wife Joyce but he begins next week by ignoring her latest one. Instead he tells Bernadette he's set up a chess game for her, however when she discovers who her opponent is, she's left feeling intimidated.

During the match, Patrick Trueman asks Ted about his date but is quickly shot down as Karl, Bernadette's opponent thrashes her. Later after a pep talk from BFF Tiffany and Ted, Bernadette has a new determination and ends up winning the chess match.

While the celebrations are going on, Ted clutches his chest put dismisses it as heartburn. Later, just as he's about to burn Joyce's letter Bernadette manages to convince him otherwise and after reading the they're left in shock – there's tickets to Australia inside.

Later when Ted prepares for his exciting trip he suffers more chest pain and despite insisting he's fine, Sonia Fowler takes him to A&E.

Everyone is relieved when Ted says he's got the all clear but back at home he takes out his medication and a leaflet about Angina. Ignoring his condition, Ted heads to The Vic with Patrick and pretends he's well.

Before heading off to Australia Ted wants to make sure everyone he cares about is looked after so he sets up a tab in The Vic for Patrick and the Taylor family to keep them going for a while. He also gives Bernadette a wad of cash.

Unfortunately, it looks like his secret won't stay private for long because after Callum 'Halfway' Highway accidentally tells Patrick about his new tab and he discovers Karen and Bernadette are concerned for Ted, he confronts his pal.

Will he get to the bottom of things?

Towards the end of the week Karen Taylor starts to plan how she'll spend Bernadette's money but after her daughter makes it clear her mum's plan won't go ahead, Karen rushes to get in Ted's good books. When Bernadette's chess match goes ahead, Karen and Keegan Baker notice Bernadette has several missed calls from Ted and it's not long before they put two and two together and realise something is wrong.

Over to the Mitchell/Brown household and Honey is surprised when Jay mentions how excited Billy is that they're all moving in. .

It soon dawns on Jay that Billy has no hope of a reunion with his ex-wife but after seeing how much the idea means to him, Jay encourages Billy to not give up.

Later, Billy makes a huge effort creating a welcome dinner for Honey but it ends in a disaster.

Eek!

Things seem to be on the up for Honey when Arshad Ahmed recommends a dentist to Honey and during her appointment she's put at ease by newcomer Adam Bateman.

She's then excited to get a text from him inviting her to dinner.

When Billy tries to make it up to the mother of his children on the same night as he date, she lies to him and gets Kim Fox to back up her story.

How will the date go? And how will Billy react when he realises he has competition?

Elsewhere on the square, Kush Kaezmi takes the day off work but spends it drinking home alone – he's still grieving from the death of his brother Shakil. Meanwhile Denise Fox follows her sister's advice and spends time with her boyfriend.

After winning VIP treatment for Ian's new restaurant, an excited Kim can't wait to lap up the life of luxury but when Kush bails on going, Denise is left deflated. When the launch is in full swing Kush arrives, following a pep talk from his mum Carmel, but he soon takes advantage of the free drinks and reveals Kim's pregnancy in front of everyone – leaving her mortified.

Later when Kush tries to apologies to Kim for revealing her news, she makes it clear she's not interested. He then tells Martin Fowler he desperately needs to take to him about something he did last night…

Then Denise hints to her boyfriend he needs to make it up to Kim, unaware that he's trying to tell her something. Carmel overhears her son and wonders what he's hiding – will she get to the bottom of it?
