It’s safe to say the Slaters aren’t having the best time right now, so could the return of their most level-headed relative be just what they need?
With Stacey battling Postpartum Psychosis, the death of Charlie still fresh and Kat’s discovery that she has a secret son – it’s been one thing after another for Walford’s feistiest family.

Now Kacey Ainsworth, who played Little Mo Mitchell from 1998 to 2006, has confirmed EastEnders bosses have asked her to return.
Speaking to Radio Times, the 47-year-old said: “It’s not like they haven’t asked but the thing is, I have so much on the table at the moment it would actually be quite difficult to find a space.
“So it’s about timing. The Slaters made a big impact and it all worked so well. So, you never say never. It would be a nice thing to do, maybe. I don’t know.”
Kacey confirmed EastEnders bosses have asked her to return as Little Mo
During her time on the BBC One soap, Kacey was at the centre of one of it’s most shocking and memorable storylines ever; Little Mo’s suffering at the hands of abusive husband Trevor Morgan.
On New Year’s Eve in 2001, after being subjected to physical and emotional abuse and rape, Little Mo finally found the courage to stand up to Trevor, and attacked him with an iron.
Trevor later died in a house fire, after he attempted to take her and his son Sean hostage at the Slaters’ home – and Little Mo’s story is still praised for helping others suffering from domestic violence.
Kacey added: “I look back on my time on EastEnders with real nostalgia.”
