As EastEnders fans will know, Martin Fowler (James Bye) is blissfully unaware of the fact that he is not the father of Stacey’s baby son, Arthur.

In fact, Arthur’s father is one of Martin’s closest friends, Kush Kazemi (Davood Ghadami), following his one night stand with Stacey (Lacey Turner) last year.

And it’s been a ticking time bomb for fans, as they wait anxiously for the truth to finally come out.

Naturally the tension between Kush and Martin is at an all time high - particularly as Kush is trying to deal with the emotional fallout of watching another man raise his baby.

So it’s unsurprising that the two are set to have a HUGE fight in the not-so-distant future.

But it’s not for the reason you may expect…

Martin will become angry when he realises that, whilst he was out with Kush, the hospital rang offering Stacey and Arthur a place at a specialist Mother & Baby Unit - but the place has now gone.

However, when he learns that the reason he didn't have his phone on him was because Kush secretly left it behind, his anger builds.

Kush claims that he wanted Martin to have a night off from worrying but Martin loses his temper and the two have a huge fight.

Will the secret about baby Arthur come out in the heat of the moment?

Either way, we don’t have too long to wait before Martin learns the truth.

Teasing the big reveal, James Bye said to Inside Soap: "I think it's going to be an implode or explode situation.

“He'll either jump off a bridge or go crazy with Kush and Stacey.

“If it was me, I wouldn't be able to get my head around it. I've got kids myself so it's not something I ever want to think about!”

James added: “I am keen for him to find out, but at the moment I don't think it can happen, what with everything that is going on with Stacey.

"While I don't want it to end up being a long, drawn-out storyline, the upcoming scripts are really strong."

This episode airs on BBC One on 15th February 2016.
