Shock revelations and a bust-up with Ben see Kathy pack her bags...
Kathy is plunged into fresh turmoil next week when she discovers the man her son Ben is enjoying a cosy relationship with, is none other than Willmott-Brown’s off-spring, Luke!
When Phil does some digging and breaks the latest revelation to her, the shocked mum struggles to take in the news,
Later on, and with her head well and truly scrambled, Kathy feels she has no option but to tell Ben the truth: that Luke’s dad James raped her back in the 80s.
“Kathy’s worried for Ben that Luke might be like his father”, says Gillian Taylforth who plays her.
A disbelieving Ben is knocked for six when his mum makes the grisly revelations and mother and son soon get into a heated row as Ben demands to know why she hadn't told him sooner.
He storms off to confront his boyfriend Luke. However it seems like scheming Luke is a chip off the old block and it’s not long before he’s convinced Ben that Kathy’s version of events might not be all there is to it.
Meanwhile Luke's ruthless father, Willmott-Brown has his own agenda and urges Luke to bring Ben to meet him.
Luke does his best to set up a meeting and despite Ben initially telling his boyfriend he’s not interested, he eventually agrees to meet the sinister W.B face to face.
What is Ben planning to do? Does he want revenge on his mum’s rapist or will the plotting businessman manipulate him into believing mum Kathy could be lying?
Meanwhile, with her relationship with Ben in tatters and her rapist now back on the scene, a distressed Kathy feels she has no option but to leave Walford and sets about packing her bags.
Can anyone stop her from leaving Albert Square or is her mind made up that she needs a fresh start elsewhere?
Will she stay or will she go? What do you think Kathy should do? Let us know on Facebook or Twitter
