EastEnders Spoilers: Karen Taylor’s nasty ex arrives in Albert Square!

Trouble is a-brewing for Walford's Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) as her no-good ex turns up to Albert Square and gives the family a massive shock...

EastEnders newbie Mitch Baker (played by Roger Griffiths) is bad news for the Taylor family though it's unclear at this stage what he's actually done. Knowing the BBC1 soap it's probably something involving murder or burying someone alive.

Keegan's dad turns up at the Arches when he needs his van repaired and Karen is not happy in the slightest.

Roger spoke of his excitement at joining the cast, "the Taylors are an established tight-knit family on the square, so coming in as Mitch – the wild card, meant I had to hit the ground running.

"I had a brilliant time and the actors who make up the Taylor family made me feel at home instantly. It was love at first sight."

Roger Griffiths will play the Keegan's estranged parent in a handful of episodes and makes his first appearance on Monday 12 March.

It's the first time we've met any of Karen's six baby-dads and we have a feeling the Taylor's are going to be unsettled by his shock appearance.
