EastEnders took a turn last night as fans of the BBC show saw Kathy battling her demons to stand up to James Wilmott-Brown.

Things began unravelling for evil Walford resident when his daughter, Fi, realised that Kathy had been telling the truth about the night James raped her. Disgusted by her father, she decided to confront him - but when she did, he cut his ties with her and threw her out.

However, realising he was now left with nobody, James went to see Kathy in the cafe in an attempt to manipulate her, telling her he didn't want to die alone and attempting to coerce her into an 'arrangement'.

But Kathy mustered up the courage to tell him where to go after all these years of his torment, by grabbing him and forcing him to look in her eyes as she tore him down.

Fans were over the moon that the cafe owner put JWB in his place.

Meanwhile, Fi decided to call the police and when James had returned to his office to gather and destroy all the evidence in his safe, the officers turned up at the door and managed to barge in at the last second before everything was shredded - but James also suffered a heart attack.

Now the question is we're all left wondering is - does this means that the Square's sinister businessman has died? Or will he pull through?

Others were convinced that this was the end of JWB.

We'll have to wait and see...
