Is EastEnders' Jack Branning about to do a sensational U-turn on rival Charlie Cotton?

We were in bits on Friday night when tragic Jack Branning tearfully told rival, Charlie Cotton, that he wouldn't stop him taking the tot to Ireland for good. Fans heaped praise on actor Scott Maslen for his emotional performance as he called Charlie's wife, Liz, and grilled her about their home on the emerald Isle, asking if he could go and see it before Matthew moved there for good.

Liz had made an unexpected visit to Albert Square to appeal to Jack to let her and Charlie take Matthew. The baby is Charlie's biological son, put Jack has been raising him since Ronnie Mitchell met a watery end on New Year's Eve.

But these new pictures suggest that Jack could still do a dramatic u-turn and change his mind about letting Charlie take the toddler.

Tomorrow's (Monday) episode will see Jack struggle with the thought of not having Matthew, who he sees as the last bit of Ronnie, in his life. Charlie assures Jack that he will look after him, but will Jack change his mind?
