Ian Beale has had a lot to deal with over the last year.
After losing his precious daughter Lucy, he was driven mad trying to find out who murdered the beautiful blonde.
However, when he found out that his youngest son Bobby was the one who ended Lucy’s life, Ian faced a difficult choice.
And now, driven mad by his dark secret, it seems as if Ian has been driven to the brink of suicide.
Behind the scenes photos of actor Adam Woodyatt and on-screen wife Jane (Laurie Brett) show Ian standing on the edge of a river close to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park preparing to jump.
But is it the pressure of keeping Bobby’s secret that’s driven him to this (after all, Max Branning HAS been charged with Lucy’s murder)… or is it the fact that he’s just come face-to-face with mum Kathy?
The very same Kathy (Gillian Taylworth) who he thought died in a car crash years ago.
In the pictures, Ian is seen collapsed on a road, being attended to by his wife and his mum.
But is that because he has fainted in shock at seeing his mum - who he has believed dead for years?
Has something happened to him as he made his way over to her? Or did he really jump?
We can’t wait to see what happens when these dramatic scenes air in early October.
But there is one thing we know for sure; Walford really DID change forever when Lucy died, didn’t it?
