Who killed Lucy Beale?
That's the question we've all been asking since the blonde lettings agent's body was found on Walford Common - and, as February 19th approaches, we know that the killer will finally be unmasked.
But Hetti Bywater, who will be returning to reprise her role as Ian Beale's doomed daughter in flashback scenes, has admitted she's hoping there's a twist.
She said: "Part of me thinks that it would give the public a shock if it turned out Lucy had committed suicide.
"Who killed Lucy? Lucy."
We're not sure EastEnders fans would appreciate THAT idea, especially as they've all betting on which Walford character did the dark deed.
Thankfully, Hetti has another theory - and it's one which makes a lot of sense.
She explained: "I want it to be Peter. And I've dreamt that he did it - he's been planning it for months, so it was totally premeditated.
"It was a really dark side of Peter that we hadn't seen before."
As Ben Hardy, who plays Peter, is leaving the BBC One soap this spring, it does seem to make a lot of sense that he's the killer.
Especially as it was recently revealed that he had been supplying his sister with drugs - and that, in upcoming episodes, his girlfriend Lauren Branning will be driven mad when she discovers what REALLY happened to her late best friend that night.
Could she have learned that her husband-to-be (and childhood sweetheart) bumped his twin off? We guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.
One thing's for sure, we absolutely can't wait for the show's 30th anniversary live episodes - it's high-time we find out who laid Lucy to rest.
