Nothing beats stuffing ourselves full of turkey, grabbing a bottle of Bailey’s and settling down in front of EastEnders to find out who will die/be caught cheating/get jilted at the alter. (Or all three, if we’re lucky!)
And this year looks set to not disappoint. First of all, our favourite Enders couple ever Alfie and Kat Moon are making a brief return – and it’s looking likely she’ll find out the identity of her secret son.
The drama will come to a head for the Mitchell family, with Phil’s downward spiral continuing. It’s been reported his brother Grant is coming back to sort him out… so could he be walking through the door on Christmas Day?
As if they’ve haven’t had their fair share of drama already, the Beales are in for it again this year.
Executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins has suggested killer Bobby could strike again, after murdering sister Lucy last year.
He told the Radio Times: “Bobby is definitely one to watch. He’s a bit of a little b*****d! And that story will reach its climax at Christmas.”
Finally, Ian will attempt to bring the Square together after the council fails to provide them with a tree.
From these snaps, it looks like Ian’s efforts are rewarded – but something tells us they won’t be smiling for long…
