There's no denying that the Carter family have had it rough since they arrived in Walford - and, judging by these new images, things are set to get even tougher for Mick (Danny Dyer) and the gang.
Terminally ill Stan Carter (Timothy West), who has been diagnosed with cancer, will be seen attempting to patch things up with partner Cora Cross (Ann Mitchell) following his spontaneous kiss with ex-wife Sylvie.
However her response to his apology gives him an idea.
Before too long, viewers will see Stan attempting to whisk Sylvie (Linda Marlowe) away to relive their honeymoon in Bournemouth.
Just as he and Sylvie are about to leave Walford in Babe’s car, they’re spotted by the rest of the Carters - and, in the ensuing commotion, Stan suffers a shock collapse.
As the family rally around Stan following his collapse, Shirley (Linda Henry) decides it’s time Mick knew the truth about why she pretended to be his sister.
But, as her dark secret threatens to rip the family apart, Stan decides to drop another bombshell on Mick and Tina (Luisa Bradshaw-White).
What is it he wants?
