Roxy (Rita Simons) and Charlie Cotton (Declan Bennett) have been keeping a constant vigil at Ronnie Mitchell's bedside following that shocking New Year's Day car crash.

The beautiful blonde, who wanted nothing more than to have a child, has no idea that she delivered a baby boy via emergency Caesarian, as she fell into a coma shortly before his arrival.

Roxy is given fresh hope that her sister may pull through when she notices her pulse rate increase - but is left heartbroken when doctors tell her it doesn't mean anything.

Later, she is forced to tell Charlie that the hospital are planning to try and wake his wife up next week - but, if she doesn't respond, then there is nothing more they can do.

Even if Samantha Womack's character does wake up, they are told firmly, she will potentially suffer brain damage after being comatose for so long.

In short, Ronnie only has one chance left - and if it doesn't work, we'll be saying goodbye to one of Walford's best femme fatales.

Shocked by the news, Roxy and Charlie return home - where she furiously turns on him, demanding to know why he didn't push for more answers from doctors.

But how will Charlie react when his sister-in-law asks him if he wants Ronnie to die?

These scenes will air on Monday February 9 and Tuesday February 10 on BBC One.
