According to reports, Dean will attack girlfriend Roxy in a storyline to be play out over the next few months.
Fans of the BBC One soap have seen Dean’s first victim Linda Carter struggling to cope more than ever since his assault on her last year.
It was recently confirmed Matt di Angelo, who plays Dean, is leaving the show in early 2016 – could his attack on Roxy push overprotective sister Ronnie over the edge?
Executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins recently opened up about Dean and insisted he will be getting his comeuppance for everything he’s done.
He said: “There is justice. And how it’s meted out will be satisfying but shocking.”
A soap insider added to the Mirror: “Matt’s exit will be explosive. Viewers are in for a nail-biting treat.
“We’re giving nothing away but there’s lots more drama to come.”
