As fans of the BBC One soap will be all too aware, there’s never a quiet moment in Albert Square.
But it looks as if this summer is going to be even more dramatic than usual - particularly for Stacey (Lacey Turner).
An extended trailer has teased all the romances and breakups scheduled for Walford, and Bradley bracing’s widow looks to be caught up in a love… well, a love triangle just doesn’t have enough points.
It’s a love SQUARE.
Check. It. Out.
That’s right; Stacey is going to spend a steamy night with Kush and wind up falling head over heels in love with him - only for him to head over to Shabnam’s the next morning and propose marriage to the Minute Mart employee.
A proposal which, judging by the stag do images we saw playing, Shabnam is all too happy to accept.
Cue Stacey making out with Martin Fowler… but will Sonya’s estranged husband, and his ominous promise to make her his wife within the year, be able to keep her away from Kush?
We doubt it. And, judging by the trailer, it seems as if the feeling is mutual… Kush wants Stacey right back!
Poor Shabnam; we don’t imagine she will handle the heartbreak of her fiancé running off with her best friend too well…
