Ellen Thomas – aka Claudette Hubbard – has filmed her departing scenes from Albert Square.
Sob.
Claudette has recently returned to Walford after that incident where her son Vincent discovered his mother’s true colours.
Ellen has been written out of the BBC One soap, but the door has been left open for a possible return.
And the Hubbard family will still be sticking around the Square too, so there’s definitely a reason for her to come and visit in the future.
An EastEnders spokesperson told Digital Spy: "As our regular viewers will know, Claudette has often been seen coming and going from the Square to visit her family and friends.
"This is the end of another stint for Claudette and we wish Ellen all the best for the future."
Ellen Thomas has appeared on the soap as Claudette since March 2015, and since exiting, has landed the lead role in an upcoming stage show The Hotel Cerise.
The production will run in October and November at the Theatre Royal Stratford East.
Ellen’s exit follows the recent news that Nitin Ganatra – aka Masood Ahmed – has also left EastEnders after nine years.
