It’s going to be a Mother’s Day to remember this year on Albert Square – as the tension between the Hubbards and Gavin Sullivan reaches dangerous new heights.
Gavin [Paul Nicholls] have been threatening to expose Claudette [Ellen Thomas]’s secret for a while now – but it’s been teased her son will become involved in the blackmail plot.
Claudette grows tired of Gavin’s outrageous demands, and she has been left with no choice but to go along with them in fear of her family finding out whatever it is she’s hiding – something still unknown to viewers.
As Vincent [Richard Blackwood] desperately attempt to take Gavin down and stop him from ruining their lives, it appears things will become too much for Claudette to cope with.
Vincent only becomes aware of the severity of his mother’s troubles when he realises she’s been trying to steal money from him to bribe Gavin with.
These new pictures show Claudette attacking Gavin with one of Kim’s candlesticks, after he touches a nerve during a heated debate.
But is this the end of the road for Sharon Mitchell’s birth dad, and how will Claudette cover up this particular secret?
While EastEnders bosses are refusing to give away any more details, a source told Radio Times: “Things take a sinister turn, changing the Hubbard family forever.”
