There's bad news in store for EastEnders fans as it's been reported that a 'major character' is set to be killed off next month - for the show's 35th anniversary.
After Mick Carter and Linda Carter win a competition for the Queen Vic they decide to celebrate with the rest of the Square on a boat on the River Thames.
Despite all the drama happening throughout the day - including Sharon Mitchell apparently giving birth (finally) - things are set to take a turn for the worst when disaster strikes - killing one of the residents.
A source has teased, "Where better place for a major death than on the Thames itself, which is so central to the show?
"Trouble has been brewing in Walford for a while, and they decided it was the perfect occasion to see off a big name."
