EastEnders fans were left stunned to see Abi Branning (Lorna Fitzgerald) fake a pregnancy in a bid to keep her boyfriend, Ben Mitchell, from following his heart and leaving her for Paul Coker (Johnny Labey).
But it seems as if things (as ever) are about to get even more dramatic for the Walford couple.
Desperate to trap Ben once and for all, Abi has since realised that she needs to get pregnant for real - and fast.
But, with Ben set to be diagnosed with an STI, it seems as if sex is off the table for the youngsters; after all, they have their unborn child’s safety to think of…
Speaking to the Radio Times, Lorna Fitzgerald said: “Abi now realises that she has to get pregnant.
“It's the only thing that will make her dream come true.”
It remains to be seen whether Abi will try to fall pregnant by other means - or whether Babe will bully her into doing something she truly regrets.
But one thing remains clear; there is a huge lie hanging over Ben and Abi’s heads.
And, in the world of soaps, the truth ALWAYS comes out eventually.
So how will ben react when he finds out that Abi has been lying about her pregnancy all along?
"Let’s be honest, he’s an emotional character, he is troubled,” actor Harry Reid told The Metro.
“I’d imagine it’ll hurt him more than anger him. Abi is essentially, before all of this, his best mate and he wouldn’t expect his best friend to lie to him like this."
But, if you were hoping Ben would learn the truth anytime soon, we have some bad news for you.
Harry explained: "[There is going to be] Lots of drama, a lot more lies – there’s always lies knocking about there – and an opportunity to see how strong their friendship is.
“When the truth does out, it will be a real test of their friendship and their loyalty to each other.”
