There’s trouble brewing when Phil’s ex-cellmate shows up in Walford…
Things have been a little quiet for Mr Mitchell lately but he’s about to find himself in the thick of the action, when a former prison buddy of his, Aidan Maguire, rocks up in Albert Square.
It’s been ten years since the law-breaking duo last clapped eyes on eachother behind bars, so they sure have plenty of catching up to do.
The touching reunion occurs next week when Phil spots Aidan locked in conversation with Kim’s other half Vincent.
Phil is shocked to see his old mucker on his home turf but as the pair get chatting Irishman Aidan reveals he’s here to get former crim Vincent on board with a big “job”.
Phil is instantly miffed that Aidan didn’t come to him first and is soon telling his chum he wants in on the action too.
The pair later hook up so Phil can get the lowdown on what Aidan’s plotting and Vincent rolls up to run through a few details.
What exactly has Mr Maguire got in mind? We’ve been promised it’s going to be EXPLOSIVE and will kick off just in time for Christmas. Even Mick Carter is going to be involved!
Frankly we don’t mind what Aidan’s planning….anything will be an improvement on all the dull Grafton Hill / Willmott Brown nonsense and speaking of boring storylines, it’s about time Vincent got his teeth stuck into something exciting. He’s gone from thrilling bad-boy to Kim’s hen-pecked spouse…. The most dangerous thing he’s done lately is teach Kim to drive!
Meanwhile, as Aidan continues to hang out in Walford he gets to know a few of the locals. Kathy is immediately taken with his smooth-talking charm and Sharon is also pleased to meet Phil’s mucker.
Although mark our words… that smile would be wiped from her chops pretty darn fast if she knew exactly what Aidan and her hubby were planning!
Is Phil about to find himself out of his depth? And what DANGEROUS repercussions is Aidan’s arrival going to have on Albert Square?
