EastEnders Spoilers: Alfie Moon is back on the square and something BIG is coming
Shane Richie may have revealed that Alfie is Hayley Slater's boyfriend live on Good Morning Britain today.
Speaking about his secret return to the show, he said: "All the cast got a script and they had this moody name in it. I can't remember what it was, Richard or Robin or something, and everyone said: who is this, Hayley's boyfriend?"
When presenter Kate Garraway asked Shane if he'd just dropped a clanger, he jokingly asked: "Am I losing you?", but we think the actor may have let a big secret slip.
This would be a major shock, and viewers are keen to find out what happened between Alfie and Kat, which will be explained in tonight's episode.
Speaking about having to keep the secret of Alfie's return, Shane said: "We said we're going to bring back Alfie for these particular story lines. Tonight is the big reveal.
"I couldn't even tell Jessie and she's one of my best friends.
"No one guessed. But Jake Wood and Steve McFadden texted me, asking if I'm coming back.
"I said no I'm away filming Benidorm - but of course I wasn't."
In the last episode, pregnant Hayley, portrayed by Katie Jarvis, was seen meeting with a mystery character, who she referred to as 'Dave', which turned out to be Alfie.
Hayley has already confronted Kat and threatened to reveal the truth of what happened in Spain.
It looks like we'll find out what happened in tonight's episode - there is sure to be plenty of drama.
