In case you hadn't noticed on social media last night, Bobby Beale was FINALLY unveiled as Lucy Beale's murderer in last night's explosive flashback episode.
But there are still many loose ends - and Max Branning could hold all the answers.
First things first, let's remind ourselves of what DC Emma Summerhayes said to Jake Wood's character - just a few hours before she died.
Suffering from a bleed on the brain, the disorientated police officer mumbled incoherently: “It wasn’t there.”
But, when pressed by Max for further details, Emma’s eyes suddenly focused and she sternly responded with a cold: “You know.”
This came AFTER Emma had confronted Jane Beale over her murder suspicions - and told her that (presumably) the fact it was Bobby "doesn’t change anything. It’s still murder.”
Well, exactly.
We know that Max Branning was lurking around outside Lucy's house on the night of her death.
And we know that he believed his daughter Abi (Lorna Fitzgerald) had delivered the final fatal blow that felled the young lettings agent, after she arrived home to tell him that she "bumped into Lucy and battered her".
Moe importantly, we know that Emma had discovered that Lucy was killed at home, not on Walford Common… and that she believed Max was already aware of this.
Surely it makes sense that he could have been the one that Jane (Laurie Brett) enlisted to help her a) shift his ex lover's body to the common and b) dispose of her purse and wallet, to ensure it looked like a mugging gone wrong.
One thing's for sure, we can expect plenty of twists and turns along the way in tonight's live episode.
Show producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins tweeted: "#EELive tonight at 2000hrs. Bobby killed Lucy.
"But there is so much more to the story…"
We wonder if this episode will explore why, despite Lucy firmly locking the front door when she arrived home that fateful night, Jane arrived to find it open.
More importantly, it would be interesting to learn whether Bobby Beale is aware that he murdered his sister, whether he blacked out the memory, or whether he just didn't realise she had died after the hit.
We guess we'll just have to wait and see - bring it on, eh?
