EastEnders fans were outraged at the food prices in the chippie
Last year a 'special offer' in Kathy's cafe left EastEnders viewers fuming and now they've been left unimpressed at the price of a portion of fish and chips.
On Monday night's episode [29] Bernadette Taylor went into the local chippie and ordered one large portion of chips and two pieces of haddock but viewers got the shock of their viewers when Masood charged her £17!
Yes, 17 quid.

It's safe to say that viewers were shocked with the price, with one person writing on Twitter: "£17 for double haddock and chips?? That's bloody well expensive."
Someone else said: "£17 for 2 fish and chips! No wonder Beales shut down at those prices #EastEnders"
A third commented: "This fish and chips storyline madness 😂😂😂 #EastEnders poor customer's getting ripped out of the pockets"
Another wrote: "£17 for two fish n chips?? Did god f-cking make it damn what a rip off #Eastenders"
One more added: "£17 just for fish and chips I don't think I will be going they for my tea."
This isn't the first time viewers have picked up on something odd on the BBC show; they spotted a huge blunder after Abi Branning died and were then left baffled by a baby name mistake.
