An EastEnders spokesperson has addressed THOSE rumours that Danny Dyer's daughter, Dani, will be joining the cast.
Danny Dyer may have been forced to take a break from Walford to "sort his life out" but thankfully his return seems imminent... and he may not be returning alone.
Yes, rumours have been building that Danny's eldest child - also named Dani! - may be joining her famous dad on the show!
And the rumours aren't as crazy as you might think.
Dani Dyer, 20, has followed in her father's footsteps and pursued a career in acting. In fact, she recently starred in a National Youth Theatre production of We Still Kill The Old Way (you can check out her acting skills in the clip below).
Rumours that Dani might be joining the soap first began circulating last year, when a source told The Sun: Danny reckons he has the power to get Dani in as a permanent star on EastEnders,
“He has been putting the odd word in with the producers and has even brought her down to the set once or twice."
Then, over the weekend, a fan tweeted Dani to say that they'd like to see her on EastEnders or Hollyoaks (both suggestions we'd be well up for!), and instead of dismissing them, Dani tweeted back with the 'look' emoji - which everyone assumed meant we should keep an eye out!
One tabloid even had a role picked out for her and everything - Mick Carter's secret love child. Nooooo! Not Mick in a sleazy affair story!
However, it seems we shouldn't get our hopes up.
An EastEnders spokesperson seems to have vetoed the idea, saying: "There are no plans for Dani Dyer to join EastEnders."
Although, as we all know, when it comes to soapland things can change very quickly!
