Billy Mitchell and Tina Carter are set to lock lips on EastEnders during Monday night’s episode.
The pair have been seen growing close on screen after Tina attempted to support Billy following a horrific car crash which left his daughter Janet, who he shares with Honey Mitchell, fighting for her life in hospital.
But, little does Billy know, it was actually Tina driving the car that injured his daughter.
After finding hope in a supportive Tina, Billy goes in to kiss her and, full of guilt, she takes things too far by kissing him back, leaving a question mark hanging over what will happen to Billy and Honey’s marriage.
On Thursday this week, viewers watched a terrified Honey scream as she realised Janet had been hit by the car in the accident.
Honey yelled: “My baby, it’s my baby!”, as Janet was wrapped in a blanket and rushed off to hospital in an ambulance.
Many fans tweeted to express their sadness and posted on social media that they had been left in tears.
One person wrote: “Absolutely heartbreaking for Honey and Billy,” while another posted: “Just me that sobbed the whole way through EastEnders?!”
