Eamonn Holmes has been criticised for making thoughtless comments on This Morning to a 22-month-old boy with incurable liver cancer
Eamonn and his wife Ruth Langsford have taken over presenting duties on This Morning whilst regular presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield take six weeks off over the summer.
But viewers have been left furious after a segment about a 22-month-old boy with incurable cancer earlier today.
Eamonn and Ruth interviewed Wendy and David Wilcock and their young son Dawson, who sadly has hepatoblastoma.

The family appeared on the show as part of their campaign to raise £500,000 for little Dawson to have treatment in America, saying that they are "running out of time" to save the little lad.
But at the end of the interview, Eamonn urged the family to update the show with Dawson's progress - and then made a very bizarre comment.
Eamonn said: "Good luck Dawson, come back and see us when you have your hair back, and you're all better and well and lovely."
Erm... What?!
Even Dawson's mum looked taken aback by the comment as Eamonn continued to try and wish the family well in his own way.
Fans of the show immediately took to Twitter to share their shock at the Irishman's manner.
