Everyone loves EastEnders' wholesome, loveable teddy bear, Mick Carter, played perfectly by Danny Dyer.
He's never really put a foot wrong in anyones book (apart from the waistcoats, maybe) and he's one of the main reason we still have faith that there are some good guys out there.
So you'll all be pleased to know that Danny Dyer may be signing a BRAND NEW SPARKLY EastEnders contract - meaning he'll be sticking around for some time.
According to The Mirror, Danny is set for a new deal on Eastenders after his current contract expires next May after three years on the show. It's believed that formal negotiations will be starting soon, with the aim to have things figured out next year.
The source said: "It’s a little while off, but of course these things are planned a fair way in advance because of the way the show is filmed. Danny is so popular it’s a no-brainer.
"He’s very much in the plan for the show going forwards… Everyone wants it to continue – especially the fans.
"The formal negotiations will be starting soon with the hope to confirm it early next year."
However, a BBC spokesman wouldn't verify the reports: "We do not comment on contracts."
