The 23-year-old has had a turbulent year so far, after recordings of him threatening his ex-girlfriend Megan Tomlin leaked.
As a result of the clips Dan was permanently axed from The Only Way Is Essex, and now it's been alleged that he's planning to overhaul his public image with CBB.
A source told The Sun: "Dan was TV's golden boy but the public's perception of him totally changed after hearing all the horrible things he said to Megan.
"He's done for unless he convinces people he's really a nice guy. This is his best opportunity to show people how sorry he is – and collect a big cheque at the same time."
As well as looking for a new job, Dan is also planning a wedding after he and Jacqueline Jossa, 22, got engaged this week.
Taking to Twitter to confirm his happy news, the dad-of-two wrote: "She said YES!!! I am the luckiest man in the world to be marrying the woman of my dreams. [sic]."
