Sarah Platt is out for revenge and puts in an anonymous call to Crimestoppers with information about a body buried in the woods and the killer responsible.
But when Gary Windass hears on the radio police are investigating a recent murder and are on the hunt for a suspect, has Sarah taken things too far?
Elsewhere, Sally and Tim Metcalfe are relieved when Faye Windass tells them she's quitting her job with Ray Crosby - but they're none-the-wiser to the reasons behind it.
When Faye works up the courage to confront Ray about raping her, Maria Connor begs her to go to the police before Gary can get to him.
But a guilt-stricken Faye isn't so sure.
Meanwhile, Ray is furious with Debbie Webster for keeping the truth about the revised development plans from him, and Simon Barlow accuses Carla Connor of being the reason for his dad's relapse.

Later on Gary heads off with David and Abi in search of the waterboard engineer Colin, who Ray previously bribed to give a phoney diagnosis of the sinkhole at number 8.

But the trio arrive back on the street with the news that Colin seems to have vanished without a trace, leaving Ray quietly smug.
