Leanne Battersby and Steve McDonald have been fighting a valiant fight to save Oliver Battersby's life after he was diagnosed with mitochondrial disease back in June.

But with a full recovery looking less and less likely and their legal fees already through the roof, this week will see the final verdict reached on whether or not the hospital will continue to fund his life support.

Hankies at the ready.

Billy Mahew's new job as archdeacon is finally within reach but soon his chances are nearly scuppered by a sulking Paul Foreman and his drunken antics.

Sean Tully and Michael Bailey have an exciting business opportunity and Toyah Battersby feels sorry for Nick Tilsley.
