Corrie fans listen up, there might be a brand new character heading to Weatherfield.
Actor Vic Reeves has revealed that he would love to join the show and he has a very specific role in mind.
Speaking at the Royal Television Society North West Awards, the comedian claimed that he would love to play Kabin owner Norris Cole’s son.
“I would like to be Norris’s son,” he explained.
“I have watched Corrie since I was little and I have never ever missed an episode. For me it’s the greatest TV. I would love to be on Corrie. It would make my life complete.”
He sang his praises for the recent live episode, which say Kylie Platt kill ex boyfriend Callum Logan.
The TV star said: “I thought it was brilliant. He was killed off and buried and I don’t know how they will get out of that. Is it the end of David and Kylie?”
Vic wouldn’t be the first celeb to make a cameo in the hit soap.
Sir Ian McKellen, comedian Peter Kay and Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding have all had brief stints on the show.
