Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) was told that she needed a caesarean when it came to delivering her and the late Callum Logan (Sean Ward)’s unborn baby.
So the young mum is left horrified when she goes into labour five weeks early in dramatic upcoming scenes.
Her waters break as she’s browsing Tracy Barlow’s flower shop, which means that she’s forced to prepare to give birth without any medical staff on hand.
In fact, the only person around to act as her midwife is Mary Taylor (Patti Clare).
Eek!
Sarah, as fans of the soap will know, was terrified of having a C-section after previously having the operation with her second baby, Billy Grimshaw, in 2003.
He tragically died just 24 hours later.
Thankfully, according to The Sun, Sarah will welcome a healthy baby boy.
However she unsurprisingly finds it difficult to bond with her little one, as she fears he will turn out to be twisted and vindictive, just like his drug dealer dad, Callum.
The same Callum whom Sarah watched die at the hands of sister-in-law Kylie (Paula Lane), before - along with David (Jack P Shepherd)’s help - she buried him under the floor of Gail’s granny flat.
A source told The Sun: “It’s an innocent baby who needs its mum but just looking at him brings up so many bad memories for her.
“All she wants to do is forget Callum — but her new baby means it will never be possible.”
